CDON Group is evolving from being the Nordics’ largest marketplace into a leading media platform for merchants and brands. We are building a next-generation Retail media business, and we are looking for a Retail media manager to set the foundation and lead this expansion.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to shape one of CDON Group’s new business areas. You will be responsible for driving retail media revenue, building strategic partnerships, and delivering impactful advertising solutions across our two marketplaces. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, brands, and AdTech partners to create a best-in-class retail media offering, but you are not responsible for the actual sales activities. Your work will directly influence CDON Group’s commercial growth and position us as a leader in the Nordic retail media space, you will be reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer.

Responsibilities includes

Revenue & Commercial Growth

  • Drive retail media revenue across marketplaces.
  • Own the full P&L for Retail Media packages and partnerships – including budget, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Negotiate contracts, annual plans, and joint business projects with retail media buyers.
  • Ensure merchants have the right prerequisite for their ad solutions (sponsored products, category ads, etc).
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations highlighting our multi-channel capabilities and unique first-party data.
  • Business growth through strategic partnerships
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with agencies, brands, and retail media partners.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities and media products.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to improve our retail media offerings

Concept management:

  • Manage retail media concepts end-to-end – from ideation to execution, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Ensure flawless delivery across on-site, off-site, fixed and biddable formats.
  • Establish ways of working and collaborative cross-functionalities with relevant internal stakeholders

Insights & Optimization:

  • Monitor, optimize, and report on campaign performance.
  • Develop dashboards and insights that demonstrate ROI to merchants, agencies, and brands.
  • Conduct category and market analysis to identify growth drivers and underperforming areas.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in management consulting, digital marketing, partnerships, media strategy, or product marketing (experience in retail media or AdTech is a plus).
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in concept development, packaging, or go-to-market planning for advertising solutions.
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising models (sponsored products, programmatic, PPC, CPM, CPC).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to co-develop solutions with internal teams and external partners.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with experience using dashboards and performance insights to improve offerings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing strategy and execution.
