About the role

In your role as Supply Chain Manager, you will work to lead the department focused on supply chain, particularly warehousing and logistics. You play a vital key role and will actively monitor and evaluate the collaboration with third-party logistics partners to ensure quality, standards, and innovation. Your work includes optimizing the logistics flow, with a clear focus on increased profitability and efficiency, structural improvements of processes, and development projects for the company’s ongoing growth journey. In this role, you will work data-driven with analysis, forecasting, and reporting of KPIs. An important aspect involves identifying factors affecting the logistics chain, where improvement measures and development proposals lay the foundation for the continued journey. The role is new within the organization and offers significant opportunities for the right person to influence both their own development and the company’s direction forward; you will play an active part in contributing to the company’s continued success. In summary, you will work with:

  • Optimizing flows with the ambition to increase quality, reduce costs, and improve lead times
  • Manage projects for efficiency and improvement measures
  • Structuring data through continuous analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ongoing reporting and optimization of key metrics and KPIs
  • Continuous collaboration with the purchasing department and retail stores
  • Negotiating, optimizing, and developing contracts
  • Continuous optimization of inventory levels, procurement planning, and control principles.

About you

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in supply chain management, particularly focused on warehousing and logistics flows. You possess a strong understanding of business processes and preferably have experience in similar roles within retail and/or e-commerce. You have a relevant education in economics, logistics, or a related field and demonstrate the ability to analyze and comprehend complex business data effectively. Proficiency in planning and executing strategies aimed at streamlining the logistics chain and employing various methods for enhanced performance is essential. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, are imperative for collaboration with stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
